Something new ;-) Pitcher & Champney Falls, Plus 12/3/16
EDIT: Hopefully corrected images for all.
I Had originally planned to hike just to the falls with Becky then just head into North Conway to shop
and grab a bite to eat. She had prior commitments so I still did the falls but headed up to what I call,
(since it's on the same ridge but unnamed), Kid Sister.

It's basically a ledgey goodness peak with
very little prominence. Found it, well saw the short herd path to it, a few winters ago.
Started with the usual stop.
Decided to turn around for a change.
Next up the falls. Pitcher had it's usual light flow. Actually, I'm not really sure what's normal for either
of these 2.
Champney falls has much more flow.
Up until this point spikes were not needed. But about .3 mile about the falls there was enough ice
to warrant them. If only to make every foot placement a calculated decision.
So i hit the height of land on Champney Brook Tr. and the herd path to Kid Sister. This was it the first time.
This was Saturday. Snow squalls pretty much ruined the views.
The same but a little sunnier when I was headed back.
The first time I only stopped briefly where you pop out of the woods. This time I explored the entire bump.
This is what is referred to as the First Sister and Chocorua on the right.
A lone hiker stands triumphant on Chocorua.
Heading back to the whole in the woods for my descent.
I was first on trail and saw no one on my ascent. There was one pair of tracks once I rejoined Champney
Brook Trial but they were ahead and out of sight since they did not make the detour to the falls.
On the descent, I passed about 6 groups. Decent day and hike overall.
