Hey folks, new to this form. I am happy to be part of this group of kindred spirits. My wife and I will be making our second trip to the White Mountains this September. We'd like to day hike along Snyder Brook trail, to Inlook trail, then Kelton trail and see where we go from there. Has anyone hiked that area out of the Appalachia parking lot near Randolph? What have been your experiences there? Any recommendations?

Welcome to the forum!
I have been on those trails and can say they are pretty typical of what you will find in the area. The inlook and outlook are a couple of pretty neat viewpoints. I used this as a route up when I did Howker Ridge. The Howkes are also interesting, though it was one LONG day for me when I did them. They are a challenge, but quite fun.

Thanks Brian. We are really looking forward to hiking that Snyder Brook section near Randolph. The White Mountains are so awesome, I just can't believe that it took me so long to hike there. I appreciate your feedback!

Hi Johnny, That's a great area for many reasons. Another is, that if its raining, there are so many water falls in there (good during spring run off, too) that you won't even mind the bad weather. Welcome aboard!
