E-mail notification of PMs not working
I noticed that lately I'm not getting notified by email when I get a new private message, even though my profile setting says to notify me. Anyone else having this problem?

That hasn't worked properly in a while for me. I'd get the notice 2 or 3 days after the fact if at all.

I've seen the same thing. Usually it takes a while to notify me and if I open it before it notifies me it won't notify me at all.

Hmmmm.....that's weird. I'm getting mine.
Perhaps nobody wants to talk to you guys?
JK JK......keep your shirts on. But seriously. Working for me, and I have had notifications within the past few days.

Of coarse it's working fine today since we're talking about it. Got all 4 in a discussion with Bob.

I've found that GMail often marks them as SPAM and so you have to go dig into that folder to get them. So if those of you having trouble getting the notices are running GMail, check your spam folder!

Well I'll be!! Apparently AOL does it too. Look at all the notifications in there!

Hm. Just noticed today I am not getting the notifications. I do use GMail, and that's never been a problem. They're not in my spam folder either.

If anyone is still having problems with notifications, first verify that your email is correct in your profile. If you've checked your SPAM folder and nothing is in there, your host may have some very strong antiSPAM controls on your mail server. If this is the case, PM me and I'll see if I can get our host's servers added to their white list.
