Thanks again Chris for your contributions. This site has made not only mine but many others lives Much easier. I've seen lately several h -nh members cultivate some sort of relationship with each other and hike together. This is priceless IMHO.

I think we could all really show some appreciation for Chris's efforts by clicking on the 'Help us pay our hosting bills' link on the lower left. I just made a small donation.

I just followed Bob's lead and also made a small donation
To Hike-NH web hosting. I Love this site and want it to keep going.
It's back running really well. It's a small price to
Pay for such a valuable resource!

If I could figure out how to..... I would post reports with pictures, also.

$$$ :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) DONE! :) :) :) :) :) $$$

Hey Terry! don't feel bad. Some one sent me directions a couple months ago on doing pictures. So far I've posted one photo of the castles on Mt. Jefferson. I'll probably figure it out now that we're indoors more :( and then we'll illustrate our fun.

You guys rock, thank you SO much! I love it when we can turn something bad into something positive.

And to celebrate, I'll have some good news for everyone shortly. :)

Thanks for pointing that out Bob. I thought I'd noticed that years ago but when looking for it recently, I couldn't find it.

Wow I've use this site for four or five years now I think and I never knew that was there. Thanks for pointing it out. I will be sure and donate also. I'm happy to do my part to keep the place running well if that helps out.

You guys are AWESOME, thank you so much again! As far as the "dontate" button I never want anyone to think they have to donate to use the site, so I used a very small icon off to the side. Maybe it's a little too small but to ne honest I really just want people to come here and feel comfortable asking questions, providing advice and making introductions without having to feel like they're being sold something. I hope that comes through, and once again, thanks for your patience!

Chris

Well, I DID say that I'd be willing to chip in. . . .

I also hadn't noticed the "donate" button. And not only have I both enjoyed and benefited from the site a TON over the past couple years, but I love the philosophy behind that last post Chris, and am much happier to contribute if I'm not being pushed or manipulated.

So my donation is small, but thank you!

Thanks for mentioning that Bob. I never saw that there either.

And thanks Chris, the site is running nice and smooth. 8)

Chris, maybe on the redesign you could make that donation tab just a bit bigger and closer to the header.

Yeah, I suppose I can do that. I'll see where it fits in, but again I don't want it to be this huge thing that makes people uncomfortable. It's only an opportunity for people to contribute if they want to, nothing more.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Chris
