 Site issues
Is anyone else having any problems with this site? I'm having a particularly hard time getting the home page to load. Then various other pages while on. Submitting a TR or PM takes a long time as well.

I did PM Chris who said he has no problem. I have this problem at work and home so figured it can't be on my end. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this?

Same here. I've contacted Chris in hopes it's part of the new build

I've had intermittent slow loading and difficulty posting. Usually if I come back 15 minute later it works fine. It's been hit or miss, but yeah, I've noticed it.

Same issues for me. Home, work, phone all does the same thing. Sometimes I'm patient enough to wait it out, other times I just try again later.

Hope this doesn't kill off any more interest in the site. Between facebook, blogs, etc there's been a noticeable decline in users/reports/participation or whatever you want to call it. Would be too bad to see it go the way of Rocks on top.

I think posting normally slows down between Columbus Day and the first day of winter, which is funny because for me that's prime hiking season! No bugs, not too hot, clear skies (no haze), less rain, etc. Things will pick up again in winter because people want to share/learn about trail conditions. I actually thought the summer activity on this forum seemed much higher than the past few years.

Hike-NH is slow for me as well. I just got a new computer, and I thought that the slow site might be because of that for some reason :? , but now I see that others are having the same problem. It takes several minutes to load or doesn't load at all.

I hope this site doesn't go into decline; it's an awesome place! :D

Sorry for the confusion guys, my host was having trouble that they finally cleared up. It was odd that some of us didn't see a slowdown. I'm guessing the problem was intermittent so I must have just gotten lucky.
