looking for men's snowshoes, for steep terrain. Not flatlanding.

well, I ran out and got a pair of Tubbs Flex Alps.
I'm psyched!

I haven't had a good look at them for traction, but you will love the bindings. Personally haven't been a fan of small, plastic shoes (only by looking at them), but in most situations, they'll do you just fine.
Remind me Brian to compare your Mountaineers and my Couloirs side by side. I suspect yours are more aggressive, but I'm curious to see the difference in person.
