Hi,

I have recently created a web site to share my winter hiking experiences and photos. I am new to this game and am very interested in getting your feedback so I can continue to improve my site. If you have a moment, please log on and take a look around.

Thanks you!

Hey Bob!

Thanks for the link, I like your site! I'm not a huge fan of the dark background and white text (hard on the eyes, but I know photographers prefer it), but I think your graphics and site design are excellent. Navigation is easy and obvious, which keeps things useable. Keep up the good work! If there's anything we can do to help, please let us know, we like to see sites like yours succeed!

Two things that pop out at me are #1 you need some META tags in your pages to get you listed in the search engines, and #2 you should integrate your forum into your site design (not really that tough believe it or not) plus add some protection against the SPAM/Registration bots (there are about 50 bot registrations on there now...)

Hi Bob, I love the site (I think the white background - though it looks good it does strain the eyes). I like the set-up. I will keep you posted as I explore your site more thoroughly!

I think it is pretty cool the kind of feed back you can get on this forum. Thanks Chris for your knowledge. I will be building a site soon <hikethesummits> with my father whom has recently bought <lakewinnipesaukee> so we will have our hands full and will certainly need the opinions and feed-back etc. to create the best possible sites for our fellow outdoorsman.

Jason

I like your site. I like the way your pictures of gear break down each layer of clothing and amount of gear needed depending on level of activity.
