Hi all, I'm leaving for Glacier in two weeks, and my hiking partner doesn't have an ice ax. Is there anyone within an hour of Worcester that'd be willing to lend me one for the first couple weeks of August? Goes without saying that if anything were to happen to it, I'd replace it with equal or better.
Thanks.

Thanks. I don't, but I could not resist saying thank you for asking a question like that on a 90+ degree day!

I do, and you are welcome to borrow it. I have no idea how close we are to Worcester but you are welcome to it. I can take a picture and post it, with dimensions, if that helps. Lemme know.

Assuming you mean mountaineering axe and not an actual ice tool if the specs on Kathys don't work out you are welcome to mine also. It's a bit longer than normal for the average height person since I like to use it as a trekking axe when walking more than an actual ice axe. And it's not rated for technical climbing either.

I also have a ice ax that I would be willing to let you borrow. But ice axes are actually fitted to a person's height, I'm about five nine so that is the height mine was sized by.
