I really need to buy something newer that my Yukon Charies. They're such heavy clunkers. I used them today and it was a real workout.

Its your lucky day Joey. EMS Concord has the NRGs in stock the site says. Their price is a bit more than elsewhere online (179.00) but if you have gift cards to use and get back a $25 bonus bucks gift card for each $50 you spend you'll only have to pay 105.00 for them and get back the gift cards to use on other gear.

I don't know what to do with the gift cards G. Since I won't be climbing anything that's over probably a 1K, I think my Yukons will be OK. They're still in really great shape. I need goggles to go over my eye glasses and wait for some summer shirts. I think that's what I'm gonna do. I wanted new snow shoes, but after today, it might be a waste of money. The other stuff I'll have better use of.

Guess if its one or the other that's a tough call. If they're real heavy clunkers Id be worried about the added stress on your bad knee. I'd get the light weight shoes designed to be good on the back and joints if I were in your shoes and use the bonus bucks for the goggles. I don't know how much goggles are but its like they're throwing them in for free. Either that or beg the wife for goggles for Valentines day! :D

I think mine are the older 800 series Yukons. They've got some weight to em'....but I don't know what to do. I have two $100 gift cards for EMS. You know how fast that can go in that store! My wife has a pair too, and they're like new because getting her out in the snow is like pulling teeth. I could always take hers. They're a bit smaller, and would fit over my hiking boots with the gaiters. I just checked out goggles, (on line), and they can be a bit pricey. One thing, I do need goggles. My eyes are feeling burnt from yesterday.

I'm not gonna know what to do until I walk into that candy store.
