 Bug Spray for Dogs
What kind of Bug Spray or Bug Control do you guys use for your dogs? My big Boxer is apparently allergic to the black flies - He's been breaking out in hives after a few bites. I bought some stuff from the vet that works good but its very expensive. I'm debating trying some Repel-X for horses? Any other ideas? I know I don't want to use DEET because he licks himself quite a bit...

THANKS!!!

Yep that is exactly what happens to Beau - His back legs mostly. He is starting to run and shake to get away from them. He knows now that they are ouchy! poor guy on Sunday I had to give him Benedryl just so he could relax :(

Any info is awesome Thanks Quest!

I used Flys-Off (i think that is what its called) i got it at Petco but that didn't do the trick.

The kind I use is Pet Herbal Armor by All Terrain. http://www.allterrainco.com/ It works pretty good but needs to be reapplied every so often, depending on how much water/grass she goes through of how thick the bugs are.

I use Ark Naturals Flea Flicker, Tick Kicker:

it seems to work well with an assortment of pesky bugs.
