My staples have pretty much been mentioned here already. Except this past winter I got in the habit of making my own chocolate covered pretzels. Break a pretzel rod in thirds, dip most of the nub in melted white chocolate, throw some sprinkles on there for good measure, pop it in the fridge and voila - a sweet and salty treat that doesn't freeze :)

Ohhhh that reminds me. I once made some chex mix using choclate and peanut butter melted and poured over the cereal and then coated in powdered sugar. Dear me I wanted to die that's how good it was. But then summer came and as you can imagine it got messy. :lol: But in the winter it was DEEEEELICIOUS!
