 hiking in the white mountians
My name is Jake I am a student at U of S carolina, and i hike the AT in the summers. I am fairly experanced and i am in good shape. I am also causious abou severe weather, I have done most of my hiking duing good times of the year ie may through july. From what I have read is seams that the weather in this section can be dangerous in early may. I am planing 1 to 2 week trip, I am looking for tips on severe weather, ie clothing (parka needed?) and other things that a fairweather hiker does not think about.
thank you jake
