This is the big week for the meteor shower. It's expected to peak later in the week. One of the peak nights is before my day off. I do have to work my day off from 12:30 - 4:30, but I could "catch the show" and then come home and nap a couple hours before work (which is just a training seminar on how to be nice to customers    ). If we both had a normal day off, we would go to a pull over on the Kanc, watch the meteor shower, the sunrise, and then go for breakfast (we did this once, other times we camped out and watched). But Prema has work at 8 am. So we are looking for a good place within an hour from home. She can sleep on the way home.

Challenges with our area - light pollution and finding a legal place to be at night. One year we watched the November meteor shower from a field in Methuen and it wasn't bad. The coast would be nice, too, but they frown upon being there at that hour, and there may be fog.

Although after any kind advice I get, with my luck it will rain :( .
