4,000 Footer Partner Wanted
I just started my quest to get into the 4,000 footer club. I'm looking for a hiking partner in the Londonderry area who has the same goal and is interested in sharing regular drives to the Whites. I'm in pretty good shape but I'm not looking to set any land speed records to the summits. If this is not the best place for me to be posting this, please tell me.

Hi Jeff, I'm just replying to welcome you to the forum. This is a nice place and you may be able to find someone for at least a few hikes. Best wishes!

What Beckie said. Watch for Brian's open calls for upcoming hikes. Also, not to turn you away from this forum, but there is a pretty active meet-up group that hikes often. Also there is an "over-the-hill" (which, depends of course on one's perspective. I mean, how high is the hill? And, who's to say when one is "over" that? What's the criteria? Age? Pfffft. Speed? Meh. Attitude? Wellllllllll, no. Let's not go there. )
