Kinsmans and Cannon - Trip Report
This weekend Lucy and I teamed up with my friend Christophe to show a good friend of mine one last view of the Shire as he is to move away this coming week to L.A. All day long we needed microspikes across hard packed icy trails. The Kinsman ridge Hike proves to be a beautiful send off as we spent the morning gaining the Kinsmans and the afternoon laboring across the ridge over the Cannon balls up to the summit of Cannon. Dropping temps and heavy winds do not allow a long term stay on the summit though as we quickly exit our day on the Hi- Cannon trail. The day was one to be remembered by my friend as he gets ready to start a new life across the country.

Lucy looks like she's getting big. Must be all that muscle building from hiking.

She really is getting bigger and healthier. When we adopted her in September she was under weight and had bald spots from allergies. Now with hiking and proper diet she is looking great. It is amazing to see the resilience of a dog and how fast they rebound in the right environment. I love the little girl!
