That's good to know especially when I am hiking with my dogs. It's always better to know ahead of time.

I only do Craig Camp because some of the guys I go with are not equipped to winter outdoors. It is nice for a group. Not sure I would want to spend a night up there alone. We go up Lowe's Path.

The rest of the winter, some of us hike in and camp out at stealth spots, which I prefer.

Yeah I am sure over time you end up knowing lots of great spots to camp out there. My winter camping set is lacking, but it is getting there. I always try and mark out good camping sports when I see them so I can go back and use them later.
