This is for all you W48 peak-baggers who are chomping at the bit to get started. 8)

What 4K was I on or near when the photo was taken. Made this pretty easy since it's Friday.

3 - is the summit of Carter Dome.
Image
(By the way, that picture is from this past Saturday, Dec. 13. Pinkham has a TON of snow already, great snowshoeing to be had in that notch! - 4 feet in some spots on the ridge already!)

4 - is from the lookout on Wildcat A.
Image

5 - is it the lookout near North Twin coming up from the river looking at the summit?
(I can't seem to find a photo in my collection even though I know I've taken a shot from the spot I speak of).

I'll leave the others for someone else :D

Yea, I just realized that doesn't work at all. You'd be able to see South Twin in your pic if that was the case. I got 2 of them, and know at least #1 too, but I'll leave those for someone else :)

For being easy those are tough. Although I had Wildcat.

I'll guess S Hancock for #2.

It would be easier (I recognize that might not be the intent!) if I could click on them and blow them up a little bit.

Can those of us who don't give a flying flake about when the AMC tells us it's winter hiking time out there respond? :D

1. Jefferson
2. Moriah
5. South Carter

No correct on 1,2, and 5.

1's a presi, 2's almost. 5's a loner. :)

I'm just here to thank the others who missed to help me not feel as dumb. Especially after Joe calls them easy!

No, Carter Dome is #3, and no. 8)

I thought these were easy.

Same clue. 1's a presi. 2's almost a presi. 3 is a loner (4K) but is often done with other peaks.

1 looks like Jefferson / Castellated Ridge from Adams-4 / Sam Adams or thereabouts
2 looks like Isolation
5 could it be Carrigain?

I guess I need to do this more often, you guys are out of practice.

The view from 1 and 2 is in the same direction. These's a peak in both photos that's a popular 3K.

Think loop for #5.

Easy if you're a 4K lover maybe. Some of us rarely visit the NH these days and the memory gets fuzzy. :?

I think I see Kearsarge North, and Chocorua in one of them so they'd have to be looking SE. That said, I'm going to guess the opposite direction.

1. Monroe looking NE at BS?
2. Willey?
3. Cobot?
