I like all the advice given here, and I concur with recommendation to give it a shot. Just remember my mantra: "When in doubt, chicken out." I can't say that looks good on my family crest, but it's gotten my kiester out of a jam more than once! As many others have quoted (or paraphrased) Ed Viesturs: "Getting to the summit is optional--getting back down isn't." Have fun!
