Anyone Lost a Dog near the Flume?
Good afternoon,
This past weekend, I took my Boy Scouts on a few hikes in the Whites. When the high school group and I were completing our Flume, Liberty, Lincoln, Lafayette loop but walking back to the Flume parking lot on the multi purpose trail, we encountered a friendly dog just before the turnoff back up to Liberty.

The dog followed us all the way back to the lot. He was thin and had some matted fur but he had a collar and tag. Unfortunately, while he / she gladly ate all of the beef jerky we had, I couldn't convince it I was ok to touch it and read the tag.

I'm not sure if anyone knows of anyone who lost a dog, or who I should reach out to, but winter is coming and this doggie isn't a husky.
