I'm short three: South Carter, Middle Carter, and Owl's Head. I'm optimistic though.

As far as the tailgating spot goes, I'll just follow you guys after we get back to the TH after the hike.

I seriously cannot wait for Saturday! I had a blast last year, and I'm sure I will this year too! Plus, I'm gonna try to stay for the whole trailgate this time :) .

To summarize for completeness:

1. Granite Guy
2. thegibba
3. madmattd
4. hiker0200
5. krpayer
6. Mike z
7. Petch
8. IQuest & Marlie

Meet at Skookumchuck Trailhead at 7am where we will spot cars to the Greenleaf Trail (Tram Lot) and decide on the final route. Boots on trail between 7:30-8am.

Greenleaf Trail up. Skook down in good weather (Greenleaf if bad). I have the flag, Matt has the poles, bring rope if you've got it.

After returning to cars we will head down to the Loon Picnic Area to meet up with other Hike-NHers and enjoy food and beverages. If weather is very bad we may relocate to Woodstock Brewery.

Fellow strollers of the hills,

I am in the midst of a Defcon4 situation at work, and will not have a solid read on my attendance until Friday......I will update accordingly. Looking forward to the event, and hope I can make it.

fyi

defcon4 for me usually means a few rolls of toilet paper  (and yes, even at work!)

Thanks for the summary Kris. Very helpful.

Scanning through real fast before everything crashes here at work, it looks like we have all kinds of meat and misc food coming. Should be a good time. Hopefully some other Hike-NHers from other peaks will stop by to say hello!

1 year ago today, testing the flagpole rig:

I find the metal pole next to the power lines is a nice touch. I will assume you survived!

Matts smarter than that. It's not him holding the pole. Probably some guy he doesn't like at work! :D

It is indeed someone else at work tying off the flag on the pole ;)

Have fun everyone. I wish I could join you to meet people in real person, but I'm committed elsewhere :( It looks like a route I'd enjoy doing, even if it is merely for redline purposes. Looks like the weather may hold for you at least for the hiking part. Maybe next year :(
