 Bigelow Range and Abraham (Maine)
I spent another weekend in Maine and have 59 of 67 peaks completed so far! I'll be in VT one weekend in August and then have reservations in BSP Labor Day weekend to hike Brother and Katahdin!

The 4th of July week we had pretty crummy weather in Maine, but this time around it was gorgeous. I sweat more than I think I ever have on these two hikes (high 80's both days) but the views were totally worth it!

Here are the trip reports!

Bigelows (Avery and West Peak): ... -peak.html

I loved the Bigelows when I hiked them. :D I would really like to go back some day. That's interesting about the caretaker. I would have told him thanks but no thanks, especially if I wasn't heading down. I try to do my part picking up trash even if it adds a couple pounds, but 10+? :x This was probably an individual's mission more than the AMC.
