 Access to base station rd?
I'm planning on hiking Monroe/Washington on Saturday if the weather holds. I was wondering what the plowing/access situation is for Base Station road leading to the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trailhead. I don't want to get stuck before I even get to the trailhead! Any trail conditions that haven't been posted on sites such as trailsnh would be appreciated as well :)

The Base Road is usually plowed, though I don't know if it is a high-priority road for the plow crews (I doubt it). Note that there's a couple of hills that can be interesting if icy/snowy and your tires aren't up to snuff.

That said, come Saturday it should be cleared of any new snow (sounds like they're calling for only a couple inches tomorrow/Thurs.) and good to go. There was a lot of traffic in there over the past weekend.

Thanks for the reassurance. From what I've read there has been a bunch of people up there lately and the weather for Saturday looks awesome! I did the Hancocks instead of this trip a couple weekends ago as it was too cold/windy so I'm hoping this weekend will be better. My little Honda Fit hasn't failed me on all the snowy roads all winter even during the traffic ban

My eclipse made it after 6 or so inches fell, your fit can also. Unplowed as well.
