 Finishing off a 2012 4K List
This weekend I'm hoping to finally finish off my planned 2012 circuit of the NH 4Ks (been sitting at 45 for over 2 months now), now that my busy fall has wound down (plus the weekend weather looks decent). Moriah Saturday, Galehead/Garfield Sunday if anyone is interested. Cool to see some snow is in them thar hills! Soon enough it will be time for those "official winter" hikes ;)

Guess I'll be pulling out some of that winter gear tonight...

Good luck, wish I could join you. Looks like you'll have some decent weather on Sunday. I'm hopefully heading up to do Cannon on 11/21 and if things go well I'll do Carrigain shortly after that for my finish. At this point I just want to get out there... I've been reading far too many awesome TR's lately and not writing enough :x

We're still trying to figure out our plans for this weekend. If we're able to do either of those hikes I'll give you a heads up! If not, congrats in advance!

I would have, but alas I was out of town...looked like such a nice weekend too. Wouldn't this make it 3 weekends in a row on those peaks?

Kris: waiting to hear when you will get to finish. Hope all is well with the family, getting sleep yet? :D

Kelly: It would be great to see you guys again. If not this weekend, then one of these days.

kpmmbm: I don't "need" them either, lol. But I might as well finish the round, right? I've been longing for a Garfield revisit all year, just never seemed to work out, last I was there was in 2000!

Hoss: Probably not going to be much snow left. Pack the spikes in case. You stalker

Seems like winter gear is in order tomorrow (at least clothing-wise) and early fall gear Sunday...lol. Got to love it. Crossing fingers on having views Sunday. Forecast went from mostly sunny to mostly cloudy the other day

No there was an off weekend in between. One trip was October, the other was this month. I won't need to go back until next month now.

I'll probably be going somewhere next weekend, just not sure where yet.

Family's doing well... I'm getting some sleep, just not enough

Hoss, I doubt there was enough base for snowshoes anyway. Have fun with all that slushy melting snow, though

Good to hear the family is doing well. My daughter is 4 months old and the occasional no sleep night still happens. I feel your pain :D

And the snow, yeah I know. Bad attempt at humor. But, now that you mention slush, it might be time to make sure the boots are still waterproof, eh?

Funny thing is this spring I was constantly waiting for the "snow is gone" trip reports. Now I hover over every TR hoping to catch a glimps of the stuff :P

Might have been useful for not sinking in all that slush on Garfield Ridge

Thanks for tagging along Hoss, it was a good day all in all. And congrats to you on hitting the halfway point!
