Below is a link to a SUPER late trip report from this summer. Computer issues and too many pictures to sort through were the contributing factors!

This was one of my favorite hikes. It turned out to be an incredible two day adventure with some crazy weather and beautiful views.

Looks like a great trip with quite the grab bag of weather. The Bonds and the Pemi are definitely a special place. Zeacliff is an awesome viepoint as you mentioned. Its also on the cover of the new amc guide I believe. Taking the Twinway up and then Zeacliff trail down into the notch from there is a great hike all by itself. Zealand notch is very wild and scenic.

Also I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure the hut in your picture is Galehead and not Zealand. Maybe you knew that and I just read things the wrong way. Nice zoom on that camera either way.

From the North Twin overlook, definitely Galehead. And you can sort of see that steep climb up to North Twin from there ;) Still a cool hut.

Awesome trip Allison. What a crazy collection of weather, but it looks like you got at least some of the awesome views that are possible on that trip. I enjoyed my similar hike a few weeks earlier than that, might have to make it a yearly thing ;)
