 Moosilauke #48 finish, Final Plans.
Ok, with the Bonds and Zealand officially in the record books I can give this itenerary with certain pride!

Here we go:

Brian "New Hampshire" and Jen "The Jeneral" cordially invite any and all to join them for their #48 finish.

Place: Moosilauke

Trail: Gorge Brook from Ravine Lodge Road

Day: Sunday Sept. 24th.

Time: MEET at 9:00, START whenever everyone is ready to go! (Since its an easy hike, and I know at least one youngster might be there.....and for those who have a longer drive....or are not exactly morning people, Chris   .....we are starting a bit later than usual. No need to rush it!)

After Festivities: Most likely Woodstock Inn....though we are gladly open to suggestions (Ive been warned we will most likely have to share Woodstock Inn with the Highland Games guys......lots of men in Kilts.....you've been warned  .)

Thank you sincerely everyone for all the support we have recieved the past 2 years. I desire for you to share in the fun with us. We go rain or shine (except for thundershowers.) Hope to see you there!

Brian

I was going to wait till tomorrow to write the Bonds report, but Im still riding a caffine high, and now have a stomach full of double decker tacos....you will have to forgive the grammatical errors though.

Jen and I were both half way into the grave when we finally hit Zealand road today. I just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry, I was hurting that bad  .

 Good point Bill! In fact, I'm thinking Brian will need to change his name to "RainMaker". I can make that happen, what do you think?

:)

Ah yes!

The former "hike with clouds" can now be called "Hikes With Webbed Feet".

Flags for the first 4 years is on summer like days. HWWF joins and one of the worst thunder storms happens on that day.

That's either evidence or coincidence.....you choose.

Ever see those court cases that have a whole bunch of circumstantial evidence that when viewed seperately doesn't say much but when put together makes the case overwhelmingly obvious?

I'm just askin' that's all...

Im waiting for when I start losing hair. Instead of hair replacement surgery Im going to have an umbrella permanently installed instead.

Besides, I like Sherpa Johns explination better for the FOT 48 rain "It was like heaven was sheading tears for all the victims"....Ha, pick on me now after THAT one :P .

I'm there. If my car is there, just check and see if I'm sleeping in it. Wake me up about ten minutes before everyone heads out.

I'll refrain comment on the weather during Flags.

I'll just remember to sign up for a peak on the opposite side of the Whites from where HikeswithClouds is......Less rain there.

I got a long drive before and after the hike. I still plan though to go out afterwards and just listen to the Pats play Denver on the ride home.

I'll all for pranks. Remind me to tell you what happened to Cathie and my sister when they threw a Bruins plate on my car.
