Welcome aboard Katesue,

I just got back from doing this trip....too bad the weather didn't cooperate for us.

Do you have reservations at Lakes? It has been booked solid for months as it's one of the only ways to stay above timberline and to get some great sunsets!

I doubt I'll be out this weekend but I wish you all the best and hope the weather holds off for a great weekend for you!
Bill

Welcome KateSue! Sadly with the Flags hike next weekend, I'd lose some part of my anatomy if I went this weekend. Good luck and let us know how it went. And keep us in mind for next time!

Hey katesue, welcome.

SilentCal and his lovely lady are staying at Lakes of the Clouds hut this weekend. Just look for a short, shifty-eyed Canadian!

Good luck, be safe (their is a high possibility of severe winds and rain of some degree this weekend.) Tel us how you made out when you get back!

Brian

And so much more, very much more to the story than this. He'll share the rest on his return! You will see. You will learn the whole story, grasshopper. Patience is a virtue!

Presis? Someone say Presis. YES, I'm in, Big Time!

Woo-hoo!!
:D

I DO know the whole story....have for quite a while now. I write with Jim 2 or 3 times DAILY.

But we will let him break the news upon his return.

The Presi traverse was one exciting, fantastic adventure! My feet even hurt from all the rocks. Tuesday, a day of 14 miles for me, saw the best views of the mountains yet. In fact the finest views seen anywhere in new England!
