 bond cliff and mt.bond
left lincon woods parking lot round 10:30 ,had info from ranger station all trails clear of snow,ya right !! hit worst mono rail ever seen at 2500 ft. either bushwack side of the trail or walk on a 2 inch peak of the mono rail ,should have brought my crampons,summit of bond cliff clear more monorail at top of bond mtn. summit clear there to.nice views perfect day ! back down below bond cliff bush wack campsite by 8:30 . Little windy but the stars were nice left the fly off my tent.packed up next morn backn to lincon woods parkin lot by 7:00 little hurtin ,had a heavy pack extra everything ,remote and all .never do this again in the begining of may !post pics soon .happy hiking ! did not see 1 person the whole trip .wow !!![url][url]https://picasaweb.google.com/100722311095490625196/MtBond?authkey=Gv1sRgCO_g2P3d_8imNg[/url][/url]

Cool that you had the peaks and trails to yourself, bummer about the abort. We too carried way more than needed for our overnight on the Bonds though I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

It depends if you want to just post a couple or a bunch. For a couple you just hit the IMG* button, type/copy the web address of the picture(s) and then the IMG* button again. If there's a lot it's easier to get a picasa account or some other photo hosting site first and then enter the link to that. There's a couple threads out there on this subject though if you poke around in the website issues forum that might explain it better.[/img]

Nice pics. Out of curiosity if there were no other people how'd you get the picture out on the cliffs? Remote release or is it a video capture? I've been thinking of picking one up for my Rebel Ti2 but wasn't sure of it's range. No way I could make it to that spot in the ten seconds my timer allows without killing myself.

I had a little bit of an amiture hiking partner ,long story short he didn't tell me his hiking boots wern't water proof ,cotton socks on ,he was 25 i'm 48 ,he was getting worn out fast ,my pack 2x heavier than his , I decieded to bug out of the traverse to garfield ,think I made the right choice surprised he made it to mount bond ,he getting better get there some day right equip . and all ,you have some nice pics too , I go on sooo many hikes and dont even take pics wish I did !
