 A little jaunt...
Don't feel like uploading the three pics I took today. I'm having a problem with my knee so today sought out some flat land....
and decided I should drive an hour or so to find it. Wanted to stop at Steve Smith's anyway so headed to LW and hiked the mile and a half
to the Osseo jct, turned around and headed back. No problems so figured I'd make a stop at East Pond via my adopted trail. Yeah.
That lasted about 48 footsteps. I got snow dumped down my neck, on my head, my pack, my had warmed just enough
and with just a slight breeze I was quickly getting wet. Screw it. Tomorrow's another day. Knee doesn't hurt - of course, it had mostly
been bothering me when stepping up or down - perhaps I'll head out again in the a.m.
Tough to motivate myself these days though with the solo treks.

HA HA. Guess G-to-the-power-of-two may be onto something with his suggestion of new friends.

Life is a trip ~ pack accordingly

Heh heh, yeah as the temps started warming up on the Moose we kept getting snowbombed. Great snow conditions above treeline, but by the end of the day the lower part of Glencliff trail was a slushy, slippery, muddy mess. Ewwwww.
