Belknap Range Redlining: Name that stomp!
I'm working on redlining the Belknaps, and I can't find anything labeled "Blueberry Pasture Trail" on either of my maps (this one and the AMC Southern New Hampshire version). I've probably already hiked it without knowing what it was called. From the trail conditions site, I'm inferring it's right next to Old Stage Road. Is it the one marked as the Straightback snowmobile trail? I also can't seem to figure out which one is called Lakeview, only that it's one of the ones near the Quarry trails.

I've been working on the Belknap Redline for a while now. I've hiked the area you are speaking of several times in the past year. I made a little markup to explain what I'm saying...

The Blueberry Pasture Trail runs from Old Stage Road up to the Straightback Mountain Trail. The Straightback Mountain Trail runs from the Jesus Valley/Beaver pond Trail to the summit of Straightback Mountain. The sign picture is from the junction of these two trails. Even though the paint is worn on them you can see the names.

I have found that having only one map for the Belknaps makes things difficult. I use the map you linked along with the AMC map (included in the Southern NH Guidebook).

I hope this is helpful

Lakeview is on Locke's Hill. It's not shown on the Belknap Range map. There are only 2 trails on Locke's Hill, the Quarry Trail and the Lakeview Trail. It's a nice short loop hike.

Perfect. So it is the same as the snowmobile path.

Yes..... I found this map a while ago.

It's an older version of the map you linked up. It shows the Blueberry Pasture Trail on it.
