 The list round 11
The next 10 from our adventures in Maine!:

Cadillac
Caribou
Champlain
Coe
Doubletops
Goose Eye
Ocean Lookout
Pamola
Peak Of The Ridges
Pemetic

I know Cadillac, Caribou, Goose Eye, Pamola, Coe and Doubletops. Could use some help with the others. 8)

Is Peak of the Ridges the one up in Baxter on the Traveler ridge? If so, from what I seem to recall seeing it should be a shoo-in, with a mini-knife edge to boot. I'll see if I can search up some good pictures (the Travelers are on the infamous "to-do list"...)

I support no list with C on that this does not have Mount Chase in Maine. 8)

I know only a few of these, but I'd be for all of them -- with the caveat that if people like GG/gibba/Joe who spend a lot of time feel like there are better Acadia peaks that would supersede Cadillac and/or Champlain I'd probably defer to their experience and perspective.

IMO Cadillac, Sargent, Pemetic, Penobscott, Champlain and North Bubble are the best of the summits in Acadia. Maybe add in either Bald, Parkman or Gilmore. They are all deserving of the list. There are many other amazing views from most trails, but those are the best of the summits proper.

Some of these are easy, a few I need some evidence for if someone could help out.

Easy yeses:
Cadillac
Caribou
Champlain
Coe
Doubletops
Goose Eye
Pamola
Peak Of The Ridges

Evidence?
Ocean Lookout
Pemetic

For Grindboy, a picture from Pamola (one end of the Katahdin Knife Edge), courtesy 4000footers.com:

And for everyone, Peak of the Ridges, which is part of the amazing-looking Travelers loop up in the Northern part of Baxter State Park, there are a bunch of good pictures in Guthook's trip report: http://www.guthookhikes.com/2014/09/baxter-backpacking-day-5-the-traveler.html

Thanks Matt -- just for myself I'm abstaining on anywhere that I haven't been personally. Keep posting though, I know others are using pics to help them vote, and plus we all like looking at pics!

Did a little Googling and came up with these:

Pemetic:

Ocean Lookout:

Both appear to be Acadia peaks.

And with that I will go for all 10 as well. 8)

 Re: The list round 11
Ocean Lookout is actually a shoulder of Mt. Megunticook in the Camden Hills state park. The summit is wooded, but the mountain is the highest on the mainland eastern seaboard of the U.S. and second only to Cadillac IIRC. There's some views from it in this report if they are still needed...

http://forum.hike-nh.com/viewtopic.php?t=6789

Pemetic is in Acadia and has great views from the summit and half mile or so above treeline on it's south ridge. They're buried in this report also...
