 The List round 7
Here we go again:

Pitcher
Plymouth
Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge/Ponds
Potash
Prospect (Pittsburg)
Ragged Mountain (Old Top)
Rattlesnake (Rumney)
Rattlesnake, West
Resolution (south knob)
Roberts

Pitcher I am glad gets the views regardless of the tower. This one is a dandy of a peak (and it helps that it has blueberry bushes galore! )

Pano 1
Pano 2

Can't seem to find my photos for Plymouth, but 1HappyHiker covers us on that department.

Cherry Ponds:

pano 2

Prospect in Pittsburg (thanks to Greg for the photo steal....again can't find mine)

We're on "P" now and I just realized that we didn't include Magalloway... even without the tower you get good views from the cliffs, with the tower you get 360 views. I think Magalloway is a better choice than Prospect.

Pitcher seems so-so, I'm not particularly impressed by the photos, but it seems like it has potential since we don't have a lot of peaks in that part of the state. I'm on the fence for this one.

I'll probably say no for Plymouth, most of 1HH's pics are super-zooms, it basically looks like you get a view of Plymouth State's campus with the whites far in the background. The waterfall is from a different (nearby) hike. Also, the ledge with the views is not the summit, so if this IS included then I'd say hike to the "Pikes Ledge" instead of Plymouth Mountain (ala Imp Face).

I think the rest I can get behind. What is the destination for Pondicherry Refuge? Any specific spot, or just redline the 2 trails?

I did not realize that about Magalloway either. I can add it to the late addition part of the list for later.

Pondicherry has a nice boardwalk out to the pond-side, which is where the second photo was from. The first pano was from nearby, a bit more east of the Pond. It really is such a nice area that Pond itself would be worth it, but the surrounding area makes for more great views opportunity.

I thought Pitcher was weak, personally -- although I had a super hazy day which doesn't help.

I enjoyed Plymouth/Pike's Peak, whatever. I wouldn't put it in the "can't-miss" category, but it was a fully satisfying trip. (Of course, I had a beautiful day, which helps!).

I'll post a pic or two if I can find the opportunity.

Just giving this a bump since I noticed a few regulars have not voted yet. So I will hold of tallying until then. 8)

OK, calling polls closed on this one. We actually had an unusual occurrence for the first time, and not once but twice. That is a TIE. Since we never discussed what would happen in a tie I guess what I will do is say that since it failed to pass a majority vote a tie instantly means exclusion. So here we go:

Pitcher- TIE
Plymouth- TIE
Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge/Ponds unanimous yes-5
Potash unanimous yes- 7
Prospect (Pittsburg) yes-4 no-1
Ragged Mountain (Old Top) unanimous yes-5
Rattlesnake (Rumney) unanimous yes-7
Rattlesnake, West yes-5 no-1
Resolution (south knob) unanimous yes-7
Roberts unanimous yes-7
