gibba, I liked your comment on Crawford -- but I also immediately thought of Jennings Peak. 2 thumbs up?

There are literal 2 thumbs up on Jennings? I went on a trash day so I dunno.

I just always think of Jennings as a thumb. You're saying that Crawford looks like a thumb? I guess maybe not!

The North summit was even nicer and I'd be in favor of requiring it for the peak to count.

Simple solution is I can make it so it goes:

Cube, N. Peak

and call it good like that. 8)

Diamond Peaks Nah (The views via Brian's pics look too overgrown even with the tower. Maybee if you could get into the cab)

No no, the firetower peak is E. Whitcomb. I mentioned that the Diamond Peaks pictures started after the one with the Second College Grant sign. These are the views from Diamond Peaks:

I like the view from Diamond but is it one that is likely to get overgrown like Hibbard? Or is it a real, ledgy viewpoint that will be there for a longer time?

It is not likely to be grown in any time soon as it is more of a rocky shelf and drop off and has no significant tree growth below it. Alas it seems moot as the nays are more abundant than yes. :D

 Re: The list round 2
First, (and it won't change anything since there are enough votes for it to make the cut) I am not sure what route was used to get the Davis numbers, but the two shortest routes I found were 16.1 coming the traditional Isolation route, and ~15.4 using Stairs Col trail, and with elevation gain numbers MUCH lower than the stated 4500'. In both cases not even close.

Regardless, the votes are in and they are as follows (winners in bold)

Boulder Loop Yes-6 No-2
Cardigan unanimous Yes-9 (and since it seems generally agreed, via Firescrew/Card. Loop)
Cathedral/White Horse ledges Yes-3 No-4
Cherry/Owl's Head unanimous Yes-9
Chocorua unanimous Yes-9
Clay unanimous Yes-9
Crawford unanimous Yes-9
Cube (N. Peak) unanimous Yes- 9
Davis Yes-5 No-2
Diamond Peaks Yes-2 No-5
