You used a yellow highlighter... That solves a dilemma for me - How do you redline (referring to the map, not the hiking) when all the maps they make already have redlines? Yes, I know there's Excel, but I thought it would be fun (and a work of art!) to not only outline the lines, but also to have little comments along them and have them framed and hanging up!

And so not to be a drifter :D, I 'm going to go out on a limb and say we may have redlined 20%. And if I'm inaccurate, I'll let you all know!

Yup, it's not pretty, and sometimes I have to re-do spots that are so old the hi-liter is faded, but it is convenient. Plus it gives me an excuse to stare at maps when at work (which is where I keep them all  )

Ooops, sorry. Yeah I might need some help here. I went through the whole thread, and I think we just about got everyone who regularly checks in here, or at least might visit thread, covered. Well, except for Joe who likes to be smarmy. :D Maybe Pirr? Only one I can think of at the moment.

Me: The most important kind. Well done Sir.

I will admit that I have ashamedly been lax the last few years in this department. Seems like we plan on doing something every year, but for whatever reason we forget about it. :( But hoping to change that this year, both with some kind of trail magic, but also I had this idea that involves buying canned goods and other non-perishable stuff, and hiking them into AT shelters to leave for thru-hikers. Figure they might enjoy a can of Campbells chicken soup that they didn't have to actually carry out there themselves. :D
