I know Greenleaf hut is closed, but I don't remember if it's in an Alpine zone, two of us are planning on staying the night around the hut sat.-sun. Any info on this? Thanks.

Hi Will,

I assume you mean a Restricted Use Area? Or getting right to the point, you're wondering if it's ok to camp at or near the hut?

The area around the Greenleaf hut is a RUA so camping must be done outside of this area. I would plan to camp at a lower elevation where the environment is less sensitive, and there are better camping options.

Good luck, let us know how the trip went!
