 Coppermine Trail to Bridalveil Falls
Sunday, after Saturday's epic adventure on Airline and up to Adams I was looking for something a little less extreme. Coppermine trail fit the bill. Excellent day with excellent company - took a few friends who had been hesitant to hike at all in "winter." Assured them this did not qualify, despite the calendar.

Great little jaunt up the approx. 2 miles to the shelter and falls. Two sleeping in the shelter; we didn't wake them (at least I don't think we did.) We had the falls to ourselves for the 1/2 hour or so that we hung out. Met dozens on our way out.

Not much snow, or ice on the approach

That's actually pretty amazing that you posted that G to the 2nd power. I OFTEN quote Mr. Franklin on that point. 8)

Peter and I have muttered that many a time when dragging ourselves to an early morning meeting point for some of our longer days. Franklin had a great outlook on life and living it to the fullest. He also uttered many great quotes. That and this are two of my favorites. 8)
