Here's how my day started, all packed up and ready to go

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand here's how it ended

Not the best ending, still waiting to get my little rav back all fixed up with a new battery and alternator. 244K on the original alternator aint bad so I guess I can't complain.
The hike up Waumbek with my two compadres was a great way to spend a Sunday. They both needed it for their any season 48 and this was a second try for one of 'em so we headed north. Hit the road around 6 ish with the usual coffee stop, picked up all travelers and made it to the trailhead in good time. Drove up the road - as there is little snow and with 4-wheel drive the trailhead road was easily navigated. Spiked-up and we're off

Saw 2 or 3 in full crampons, 1 in snowshoes. Whatever worked but spikes were fine as these were typical conditions throughout.

And in case you get bored, I know these trails aren't everyone's cup of tea, here's a little limbo thrown in for added fun.

Getting closer to summit the snow was a bit heavier, and prettier in the trees

I did continue past to check out the viewpoint. No need for attaching a picture. Just go back to New Hampshire's black one on Joe's thread and visualize the black as white.
We did share some of our snack with the locals
