 Cathedral Ledge R and R
After our long day Monday doing W/P there was no way I was going to go to Cabot as planned earlier. We were driving through North Conway and ended up near Cathedral Ledge. We watched a few climbers and Prema noticed the signage for Bryce Path, which can take you to both Cathedral and White Horse Ledges. So we gave it a try.
I was still dead tired from the previous day. This path has its steep sections, but should not take one long to get up there. It took me longer than some of the tourists! It's a pleasant hike, the colors are still nice. a lot of yellow, contrasting with the dark green coniferous trees. The path is good, but the ladder could use some new rungs. It was kind of like a mini-version of Washington - you come out on the top and there are the folks who drove up. Except here there are trees! I stretched out using my pack as a pillow and dozed off while Prema watched the climbers. A lot of great views from here. Maybe we'll go back sometime for White Horse Ledge. We walked the road to give my knees a rest. That was a pretty walk as well.
