Hey Chris,

Great trip report and pictures...and congrats to Steve on getting a couple of 4K's too.

That Kendron Flume is an "interesting" trail to say the least especially when we found the sign for the cut off was missing to get to Willey House.

Hopefully the knee does better on Falling Waters in a couple of weeks.

See you soon and THANK YOU for all the work you did to make Flags on the 48 such a success!
Bill

Thanks Bill, and thank you for participating (I know, as if you would have missed it!) I'm going to get the knees checked out (again) and hopefully I'll get to keep them. :)

Nice Report Chris. I'll have to check out that end of the Willey Range Trail next year with all those ladders.

I echo Bill's sentiment on your contribution to the Flags Event. It's an honor to work with you.

Thanks guys, you make me blush! And right back at you Cal! There are folks who get things done (regardless of the crap they must cut through) and there are those that just like to see their name in lights. You my friend, get things done. It has been, and will continue to be a pleasure. Be proud of what the FOT48 is, it's a direct result of your effort.

Agreed, and I also posted on Flags a big thanks to Jim and Chris.

The event would never work without all the support you 2 provide.

Thank you!
Bill

Great hike and t.r, Chris. I saw the helo drop of the timber w/Mari a few years ago. It needed a ladder then and I'm very glad a group built the absolutely finest set of ladders I've ever seen anywhere!

Mt willey was my 21st 4k (Sept 23) and what a great hike it was! It rained for most of our hike up the hill, but those ladders were a blessing. I was in awe of the work done to make the trail easier and more interesting. Lucky you MtnMagic to see the drop of timber! I have to thank you guys for posting great pictures of your hikes, gets you all fired up to get out there! Keep up the good work. :D

Greetings Karen! Thank you for becoming a member and welcome to the boards. Glad you hiked to Willey yesterday, a summit that is truly earned by going up the Willey Range Trail. Congratulations on #21! Years ago we had to slog up that slide in deep mud, climb up 3 feet, slide back 1 or 2 feet! You bet those series of ladders are most handy. A work of superb engineering and construction art! We hope to hear more of your adventures and would enjoy reading your trip reports. It's great hiking folks like you that make this a fine community!
