Lonesome Lake after the deep freeze
Crazy busy and with the frigid temps haven't been in the hills lately, but took some time this past Sunday for a quick jaunt to Lonesome Lake. Spikes car to car, trail was a post-holed mess for much of the last 1/3 and a drifted post-holed mess along the Basin Cascades side but still great to be in the woods.

Pretty Pics:

This seems to be a banner year for postholing, according to all the trail reports I've read lately. Looks like you had a good day. Prema has always wanted to cross the lake, maybe we'll check it out this Sunday.
