 Little Monadnock
Decided on an easy hike today as it would be the first for my niece, her husband and their 6 & 10 year old girls. They were looking for something to do to get them out of the house more. We took our time and hiked at the kids pace. It was a beautiful day with minimal bugs. Got to the summit and had beautiful, but limited views. About all you could see was Monadnock. Took a break on the summit and had lunch. Then headed back down and through the Rhododendron trails. The flowers were just breaking out so another week or 2 they will probably be in full bloom. Nice easy hike and signs say dog friendly. Great place for beginners or anyone who just wants an easy day in the woods.
