This hike brought Jonatha to #'s 46 & 47 toward her
Winter NH 4's :!: :!: :!:

We traveled the Pine Bend Brook route, which was in really great shape considering what we (don't) have for Snow, and the rain events. I was able to bareboot with my screw boots, and Jonatha & Devon wore crampons. We carried our snowshoes just in case, but with the colder temps, the trail is mostly firm, with a top layer of dry fluff. Even the herd path to Scaur Peak has been tracked out, though we didn't go over there today.

As we reached the North peak, the clouds drifted away and the sun shined brightly. Perfect timing, and Jonatha couldn't stop grinning. Over on the Middle summit, Devon did a round of tell-me-the-name-of-that-peak-please.

We had a really good day in the forest 8)
