The northern Presi's are in really good shape, dispite the thin snow cover.
From the north end of Monroe loop through the summit of Eisenhower, the southern Presi's are very icy on the trails.

The sun & warm temps were a treat on this January day, and there were a good # of folks out on the northern Presi's. After we left the summit of Washington, we didn't bump into anyone, and unfortunately were too late to encounter Mohamed & company down on Pierce.

Incredible! That's difficult enough in the summer but to do it in winter in one day is amazing.

Mtn Magic is dead-on 1500mg daily. Glucosamine Sulfate. I've been taking it since 2000. I totally believe in it's effects. It can be expensive if bought from the local stores that supply supplements ($30 for 120 caps)

EDIT: From what I hear, chondroitin does a lot as well; there's an option for glucosamine and chondroitin (with MSM). Anyone take that one? WebMD says that the two are often taken together for best results...
