Go for it Beckie.

I am blaming my slow internet connection. Out here in the sticks we have few options so I'm stuck with slow-poke DSL that is about as fast as a sleep-deprived turtle.

I'm trying like hell to stick with Google Photos. It's not a exact science at the moment. Still deep in trial and error mode.

 Re: Flickr
I dumped Google photos due to not being able to easily link a pic to a TR or other thread. Flikr makes this at least possible from my use. Still can't figure out how to get a working link to a pic on a mobile device though. Derek does it by emailing a link to himself or some junk. Seems ridiculous to me that you would need to go through hoops like that to grab a working link that can embed a picture.

Had the granddaughters yesterday and am leaving for some more fun now. I might not live in the sticks, but I bought this computer when Hillary Clinton was running for president..... against Barack Obama! So we'll see what "Old Stuff" can do when I get back! Your choice as to who or what "Old Stuff" refers to! Enjoy your week.... If it rains we will enjoy the Weeks :D .

I have got that down I think. I right click on the image to get the address. Then enter it in a TR or whatever. The original is huge but you can fiscally change the size as I've highlighted.

 Re: Flickr
well this works on my pc. lets see if anyone else can see it. and yes this pic made me feel a little colder looking at it. hopefully if you feel it if it works! And Joe the pictures should be 640 pixels wide or less unless you want to chop text off when people are viewing mobile. 700 is just a a smidge too wide.

Flickr is a piece of cake from a PC to use for trip reports. You just got to this screen, select the size and right click/copy the link and post.

Unfortunately as Peter mentioned it's a bit messed up when you want to link a quick pic from an iphone in a response of some sort.

In my TR's, I like to use 800. It's my TR. :P  But as I've been doing, I left justify the text. Using only 3/4's of the page. If everyone did the same it would be fine, Of course that all goes out the window once someone quotes. Because no matter how long the line of text is, the quote box goes from margin to margin.

What really need, is Chris to just fix this small issue of no more horizontal scroll. 8)

I have no iPhone so that is definitely not my issue.
And my issue isn't posting, it's the uploading. But again, antiquated pc + inefficient dsl = painstakingly slow. It is what it is
