I hear ya. I only had to drive from Bow, (at I-89 & I-93), to Canterbury early this morning. Ya know where the speed limit going through Concord on I-93 goes down to 55? Well, you can get away with 60 or even a bit over that. There's a 75% chance a cop will be waiting on the grass north bound as you're coming up to the exit for Fort Eddy Rd. People this morning were going way past that. I found myself going 70 and dropped it down. Most cars were going, (I'd say), at least 80mph, or even faster. I can't believe a cop wasn't there this morning waiting. The perfect opportunity to give out plenty of tickets.
I had to go feed my daughters cat. She lives in Canterbury. I'm glad she's coming home tomorrow. I don't want to be anywhere NEAR the interstate again until Monday.

I was coming Southbound yesterday in Concord around 4:00 and the Northbound side was already slow moving and heavily congested. Glad I was going the opposite way!

It was bad Thursday afternoon already on my way home down 16. And yesterday the beach was a mad house!! Lots of people and traffic but the worst was (no offense HL ) all the bicycles. F'ing people act like they own the road. I get that they have a right to share it with you, but they act like they own it outright and you're lucky they let you use it. They want to be equal to you and have their three feet or whatever, until there's traffic, and then they don't want to wait in it like the cars and they bob and weave and ride the center line etc! If you get stuck and can't pass all the cars tough luck! We all have to wait our turn to safely pass you all the darn time!

Drove 93N Thursday around 3:30 and we were fine once past exit 17ish...all the way to Jefferson.
I drove home today around 2:30 and thankfully was pretty much alone through the construction one lane area from Cannon down to exit 32. Would not want to be part of that mess tomorrow.

Talking about the roads being a zoo.....I've been getting into hiking south/west NH. Dam! Those roads are insane. I live right off exit 2, I-89. So I've been taking Rt. 9, (which I hate), to where ever the GPS takes me. I really miss driving up I-93. These S/W roads are taking so much time to drive on. I don't want to speed, but if the people would just do the speed limit it wouldn't be so bad. I think it was Rt. 101, and 202. You get behind someone who drives 30mph and the pack is a good 10 to 15 cars long. Even when it says 50. Now I know why GG doesn't want to make the ride down there.

I know it's good for the state, having all this business, but I wish everyone not from New England would go home. I sound like the old bitter man I am. And you kids get the hell off my lawn too, LOL

It is like the unofficial New Hampshire State Motto proclaims: "Welcome to New Hampshire: Spend your money quickly then please go home."
