You Know Your LIfe is Boring When.... You get excited about a new "self-propelled" lawnmower.  Our old Craftsman Lawnmower finally died after a life of 13 yrs. It was a gift from my mother and father-n-law. I didn't know anything about "self-propelled" until I saw one at Lowe's. LOVE IT!
I also didn't know that 2nd homeowners buy lawnmowers at Lowe's and mow their lawns once and then return it!!! The one we bought was brought back by a 2nd homeowner who used it just to mow their lawn. The manager gave us $70.00 off. Sounds good to me!!!

That's really nice to have if your land isn't flat....when I was living in Plaistow my yard had some spots that would have been hard to deal with if I had to do all the pushing, so I had a lawn tractor as well as a self-propelled Crafstman lawn mower.

Wanted the rider, husband said NO WAY! No place to store it and more stuff to "fix" when it breaks.  I try to look at it like at least I still get excercise with the self-propelled!! I just hated it without that feature because my large lawn is on a hill!

I could ask why you - and not your husband - are the person mowing the lawn, but that would probably just be stirring up trouble.
