I remember running into 3 of them on a section of the Metacomet/Monadnock Trail on Provin Mountain. Two were gray colored, the other was biege. I recall their size was about that of a German Shepherd. Have also seen lone coyotes on the Holyoke Range, and have heard them howling while doing moonlight hikes in Russell at the AMC's Noble View. |
