Only one felt by me but it was a good one. Felt like a freight train rumbling by the condo we used to live in.

Yeah, I'm wondering if maybe it shook 30 or so feet off of Owl's Head?

I was walking the dog and did not feel anything, but after only walking a few minutes she abruptly turned and wanted to go home (usually she likes a long early evening walk). When we came in, Prema mentioned something about strange noises and the house shaking a little. Just about everyone around here (Lawrence MA) felt it.

At first I thought it was a jet, but then I thought it was the wind, then I thought our propane was about to blow up. Then we figured it out that it was an earthquake. My first "earthquake." Our irons in our fireplace were rattling!!! Along with the washer machine. I asked the dog why he didn't act all weird beforehand, because he was just snoring away like nothing happened!!

We live about five miles from the runway at Pease, so we hear jets all the time. When the noise first started, I ignored it because I knew it was a plane. But when it kept getting louder and louder, I began to think it was about to hit the house. When I felt the shock wave, I went to the door to see if a plane had in fact crashed somewhere near us. My wife who suggested that it was an earthquake. And, of course, she was correct - as usual.
