 White ledges loop on 10/10/12.
Made a foliage hike on the White ledges loop on 10/10/12. It was my 55 year old Sister's 1st hike & the weather didn't co-operate. Without the views, it was pretty much a dark gray walk in the woods. I was hoping to sell her on trying again & as we talked about our misadventure she told me that going up was a drudge & she enjoyed coming down. I started to commiserate but was quickly corrected. She really enjoyed the walk down. It was for her a fun puzzle of picking a path & choreographing together the needed steps. She had never done anything like that before & I had just never thought of it that way. Success!

Summer trip over the White Ledges loop. Its easy for me to get to & can be done in a morning or afternoon without a plan.
