Really impressive! Go Randy, go! I think I'll try to get to Cannon at least for the sendoff next weekend....

Alex and I met Randy as he was coming down Jefferson (we were going up).

He's back at it today, almost to Wildcat D at this moment. I'd say he's in good shape to take the next 2 days off and finish it off Saturday!

I've had the priviledge of spending some time with Randy, both on and off the trail. He has quite a story and the best part is that I think the story is no where near complete.

People like Randy and Bill Irwin (who became the first blind man to ever thru-hike the AT end-to-end in 1990) display the kind of determination and courage that we can all be inspired by.
