 Snowy Owl Sightings
Any of you seacoast dwellers see any sightings of the infamous snowy owl that is apparently visiting all over the country. I see reports that it is cropping up in Hampton Beach area. Am thinking if I see it is still around this weekend of going and checking it out for myself to see if i can get lucky with a sighting.

My friend, who is a birder, has come up a few winters to try to see one in Parker River on Plum Island. No luck yet.

The owl's cool, living near the coast maybe I'll have to try and spot it for myself. And that guys photographs are amazing. Never heard of him before but I love his use of split ND filters to get all that color in his shots. Just stunning.

I believe he used to be on the MWOBS staff but is retired from that now. But don't quote me on that. He is the one who sorts through, and posts the submitted pictures in the photo journal on the MWOBS site. And yes, he does take amazing shots.
